Well, don't know how many of you really noticed but I havent been around quite as much as I was. Truth is I found a girl!

Anyways, knives werent the first thing to show her (kinda a bad first date in my opinion) but they finally came out today and I think her reaction makes her a keeper for sure.

One look at the yard hook and the reaction was "THAT'S F!@#ing SWEET!" and immediatly picking it up for a closer inspection.

In other news, while I did not go for the dfle(which I know I'll regret) because of limited funds, I did finally go for a busse with the ash1. My rationale being I can at least save a bit before it hits my cc

btw thanks dan for the dfle even tho I didnt get it, its sure to be a classic.

i also include the knife reaction as the measure of "keepability."

only happened once and she's across the atlantic.

good score, bud. i'm gonna go buy some flight tickets.

Good to hear Snook. Keepers are cool whether they be the Scrap Yard knife version or the female version. Rock on.

Congrats. Does she already have her own knife, or will you be getting her something?

She hasnt shown me hers yet...that wasnt part of the deal

I'm sure she has a kabar or something from way she talks, but think I'll have to get her something, or give something from what I already have.

I disagree. Our first date, we went to the range. She decided that day she wanted to buy a glock. Big news, since she was born and raised in California by hippies.
It sounds like you have her heading in the right direction. My wife prefers titanium knives, and daggers. Or, anything designed or carried by Rex Applegate.
