Carbon Fiber paint scheme on the blade?
Plus, how does the blade deploy, I see no stud for thumb.. do you need to pinch it out like a buck/swiss army type?
She is not my cup of tea, but I am glad you like her...

Thats the first time I have seen the carbon fiber pattern on a blade. I must Say it looks sweet.

Cool WT Stan! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I've looked at them before with much curiosity and interest. He does a good job combining the CF with the other materials.
I'll give it an 8. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'd love to know how it holds up after some use. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Awesome knife! I rate it a 11, on the coolness scale. I have always liked his work. What is that model called?

Stan, I like your knife though I wouldn't want to explain the blade profile to an LEO.
As I understand it, the CF is somehow bonded to the blade steel. Is this the case? Do you know what the advantage is, other than weight reduction?
Dan Koster has a CF/steel fixed blade in the developmental stages and it looks like it might make a good EDC.
Who knows, Warren Thomas and Dan Koster may be on to something. I remember when Glocks came out, everyone thought a plastic pistol was crazy. Now they're everywhere, including my holster.

I don't think the DM will save you from the wrath of ColdOne! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> I think you are correct on this one. Comparisons are one thing, however a post titled "Check out this manufacturer" and then a random SY shot isn't gonna do it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
JYD#10 Blade '08 - I challenge coined Dan Busse and WON! Blade '10 - The score is now 2-0!
