For a sword on a really tight budget the Tramontonia panga is very similar to the chinese broadsword and all the kung fu moves work really well with it.
Mine even came with a decent sheath of pleather.
That is pine juice and sap stains on it.

The Panga has killed more people in the last 50 years than any other weapon including the AK.

Mag - I think it would be irresponsible of me to get my 2 year old a sword such as that... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Noooo you wouldn't be irresponsible you would be responsibly looking out for your son, because your buying it "now" because the price will be alot more and it may not be offered by the time he is old enough for it.
And you want to make sure it's safe for him........

LOL

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Good call!

Off topic - but I just saw a link at the Spyderco forum that took me back to THIS forum to see pix of your PE Manix! I think Jaislandboy posted that... a while back!

Hey Mag,
Just remember that 80% of all quoted statistics are made up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Here's one for you... on the average month, I spend 500% more on knives than I tell my wife about... 80% of that goes on a credit card that is trying to survive until I get my tax return and financial aide return to pay it down!

My earliest memory is of being in my dad's reloading room when I was 3. I could remember a drawer, and something that was clear and green. I asked my dad about it years later, and he told me that it was a clear green ruler! I also remember the dies and everything, and the press...

I take that back - I have a memory from when I was two - I remember standing by my mom while she was doing dishes and asking for a brother (mom was pregnant). My brother is 2 years and 4 months younger than me - so I was BARELY two at that time.
