Maybe we can find a Hog whose loyalties lay with the Yard who can buy up all 50 of them and then have an unsanctioned Dog Bowl sale! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Dan gets his Blue, Dogs get the Scrappers, and Hogs can have their INFI.
You may want to check the bet; I think that in your scenario, Jerry wins the Blue. The way I read it, Jerry (only) sells them in his 'ganza for one minute. After one minute, if any are left, they also go up on Scrap Yard. Dan wins if:
1) The mil. overruns are not sold out after minute, and so make it to the Yard, AND
2) At least one of the knives is sold from Scrap Yard rather than BC.
I'm assuming that by HOGs, Jerry isn't restricting himself to inducted hogs, and is instead referring to anyone who orders from BC rather than Scrap Yard. Considering that a fair number of hogs will be waiting with orders prepared and ready to send as soon as the 'ganza opens, I'm not particularly optimistic that they'll ever make it to the Yard. Of course, since INFI is being offered and money may be tight due to the holidays, perhaps SR77 may not be in much demand.
I'm not sure what to think. On the one hand, after my DFLE order, I really don't have a lot of discretionary budget left this month. Also, I'm not a really big fan of serrations on fixed-blades. So, while I'm not happy that the Yard isn't even getting first crack at their own knives, I think that I'd probably pass on this mutt even if we did (unless the price is simply too good to pass up). I might change my mind by the time they go on sale, but I don't think I will.
