You must get a long riding season in Tennessee. I am lucky if I have my baby on the road by mid may. Now that it is paid off I may do some modds. One cool idea is a katana style wrap for the handle bars. Also upgrade the springs and seals in the front suspension(the 919's weak spot). I LOVE the sexy Renthal fat bars on my quad so may hook some up on the 919 as well. Some sneaky nitrous might be cool for a stock looking 919 to play with the 600's.

I may do more stunting this year if I get my bike set up for it. I already rigged up some crash pegs out of BMX parts so all I need is a big rear sprocket ,an undertail and a steering dampner. I can get my rear tire a bit off the ground doing stoppies but just a couple inches feels like your about to die smashed into the pavement. Getting that thing up high enough in the air and then keeping it there as you roll forward is insane. It helps that I am a big guy so muscling around a 500 pound bike is not so bad when your 275. I used to skate for over a decade and do a lot of BMX and mountainbiking so that helps the balance and learning that a crash won't kill you. I am WAY more worried about hurting my bike.
I was also thinking of trying some katana and bowie cutting from the bike while moving. Like modern cavalry. I have already tried shooting stuff. It is quite difficult ,you have to lead stuff backwards. It would be a lot easier with a nice full auto subgun.

I ride. This is my 2004 FLHRI with 95 cu in SE Big Bore kit and SE stage 2 cams. It is slow compared to your sport bike, but fast enough for me. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/Hog023.jpg)

If I had a bike, I'd carry a huge spear around, like those Bengal lancers did. I would thrill to the screams of the sheeple running in terror from my pointy death cycle.
That's why my Wife won't let me get one. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I would love a nice comfy harley to cruise the highway on. The dirtbike riding position on my Honda is great for town and commuting but after a couple hours it gets very tiring. The but in the air style of a sportbike is better for the highway but also is hard on the wrists and you have lousy sight. A nice touring bike with a big windshield like HD's hog would be perfect. I was checking out the Buell Ulysses adventure bike and it looks nifty. It runs a 1200 sporty engine and is like a american version of the BMW GS. The kind of bikes they use for the Dakar etc. Harley and Buell both have fantastic fit and finish as well.
I have put off modding my 919 but one I have planned is to swap my plastic Honda light for a beautiful chrome harley one. I also have already got the stingray skin for the katana wrap.

I'm a recovering bike junkie - I'm down to just 2 bikes (KTM Adventure and a Buell XB12X) plus my wife's bike in the garage. I wish I had more time to ride, but that work stuff keeps getting in the way. ![[Linked Image from fatdoggie.net]](http://fatdoggie.net/forum_images/ktm-splash.jpg)
