I've been waiting so long for that test to come out. I want to see just how good infi is.

The S6 test was pretty sweet. I know that the factory edge is probably much sharper than what Noss had it at.

Let him destroy as many S6s and an FBMs as he wants. It will make ours that much more valuable! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I want to see how it does and have been anticipating it. However I can see it not performing as well as the scrapper just because of size, he's gonna be able to torque it more and put more force into the chops. We'll find out soon enough though and INFI might surprise everybody (or not surprise depending on what you already think of it)

I'm expecting the FBM to probably chip a little more. But, it should probably survive most of the test like the S6.

It should be an interesting experiment. I've always wanted to the know the potential of a Busse and its INFI.

i love the fbm. world's greatest knife. if the fbmle's are still in stock after christmas, i'll have one more fbm.

between the mora and the fbm, all that gray area, there's no point. just get the extremes and you have it all! cept for him imps, those are still awesome.

EMF,

Since Noss appears to have a FBM and a Dogfather lined up for testing, you should tell him to do a side-by-side (same time) test of:

Busse FMB

vs.

Scrap Yard - Dogfather

vs.

Swamp Rat - Battle Rat

I would love to see how these three stack up against each other in a side-by-side torture test.

Personally, I would like to see more emphasis on cutting tests and real world use "prior" to the destruction tests. His current cutting tests are a little simplistic and probably not very relavent considering it appears he uses factory edges for each knife. I think it is fair to comment on a knives factory edge. But, then each knife should be sharpened to a standard - variable per range in size of knife - smaller knives with a more accute cutting edge & larger knives with a slightly more obtuse edge - whatever so long as some standards are established.

.... On the other hand, maybe cutting tests should be left for someone else and let Mr. Destructo do his torture tests.

.

i think destroying the three, at the same time, would kill him.

side by side use comparison, might be nice. many of us have at least two of the three. some have all, and the busse basics.

Sharp

it will probably chip less. he used really tough concrete on the s6 and it actually did chip easier than some knives(on that concrete) but chips didn't seem to really effect its toughness like it would to most knives.

yeah a side by side would be awesome but difficult, and he doesn't have a dogfather yet.
