just wondering if this had been talked about or maby on the backburner....
with the good people here and all the toys we have or come across.. i thought

And of course, the Busse section of the Exchange/Trade(whatever) area at bladeforums.com.
Andy started the Busse Kin Exchange on Yahoo a while back, though - good stuff.

i joined the Kin exchange last week and i peruse the other forums all the time...i was just thinking about here...alot of forums (like Benchmades forum)
have their own for sale, trade, and want to buy area...just wondering if it
had been kicked around before.

I know that Dan doesn't allow any selling, trading, or auction spotting here - so I'm guessing it'll be a big "no."
Not that I wouldn't mind seeing it happen...

had been kicked around before. Yes, and Dan pretty much said no, absoluty not. It was the reason I created the BKE to allow a disconnected officially unaffiliated subforum for us members who want to buy, sell and trade among ourselves without any fees unlike eBay or BF.

It has been previously discussed and Dan does not want that here. He does not have an issue with the link to the Busse Kin Exchange being posted or having people directed to the Blade Forums exchange. at first i thought i would like it but then i realized that it would atract all types of outsiders here who werent true dogs and would break up our community.
once money gets involved things change

On the other forums I attend, auction spotting seems to lead to people "spotting" their own auctions in order to advertise them.
