Check out the grind along the spine -
Don't know if you can call it a swedge or what...
But it ROCKS!!

Soooooo glad I scored one!

Sorry for the huge pix... but this one deserves them!

Wow cool grind on the spine. I would like to know how the serrations compare to other blades with serrations.

I like the swedge, I am curious as to how you guys are going to sharpen the serrations.

Me too!

Since this is the rarest of rare, next to Coldone's Coated Keeper... I think mine will be staying minty fresh and on display next to the DFLE.

BLASPHEMY!!!!! (but true... )

I really like the Swedge as well. A nice little bonus that I wasn't expecting! The Doublecut finish is amazing as well - I really like it! It fits in very well w/ my Stainless/Satin Colt 1911!

Doublecut is a bead blast - from what I've gathered!

The LE is Satin / Shiney.

Which is odd... because on that 1911, the "satin" finish is bead blasted, or "doublecut" according to Busse.

My head is exploding...

MOD = DC, two runs of bead blasting, first one cuts, second one (with a fine polishing grit) seals the steel making it more corrosition resistant.

VERY carefully. Really though, they make sharpeners that are pencil size-ish, and bigger on one end than the other and you can find a spot on the rod that matches the width of the serrations to sharpen with.
