Just in case you every want to stop by and see my scrap yard collection. Must be an older picture, as there is snow on the ground now.....and apparently I was home at the time....my truck was in the driveway.

Looks very nice! Big back yard. I'll be sure to swing by and take a dip in your neighbor's pool!

Merry Christmas!

Nice house! The images of my area seem to be about 4 years old, my current work and my former work don't seem to exist yet.

Merry Christmas!!!

Ack! Too many neighbors. I can play too! Here’s mine, see how spread out the neighbors are? See the little squiggly road near the small lake in about the middle? That’s our house left and down from the small “lake” (gravel pit). The white roof is our barn, with our house in front, and our Airstream camper (which we call the silver twinky) between them. Between our house and the gravel pit if you look close you can see some greenery all in a row. Those are trees and that’s the Eastern side of our yard. Our property is the small green triangle there. My pics not all fancy color like yours, but it also doesn’t have the GPS degrees at the bottom, so people can’t really find it.

All those detailed pics are kinda intimidating...big brother is watching...

It's really helpful when planning a trip though.

The CSIS(Canadian secret service) site has a great article on how innovative use of existing tech is going to be the deciding factor in the next couple wars and already has had a huge effect on the war in Iraq. The insurgents have used the internet as a propaganda tool to great effect. Cell/sat phones are used both for comms and remote detonators. The article mentions sat photos like the ones of your houses but in real time are already available if you have a credit card.

Say you are planning a bank robbery? If you have someone watching from a sat in real time you can not only tell when a cop is coming but which way and how fast.

I have used google earth to shop for farmland.

The military uses it to find out about the opium production.

Climate change shows up very very clearly.

I use them to watch out for zombies.
