Bigger is better. Softer cheaper carbon steel is your friend. I am using 1095 for my throwing stars because it is good steel that I can use for other stuff. If I could get 1050 from my steel connection I would. Trace a simple design from one of the CS throwers. It would serve them right as well.

I like my CS Carbon V thrower. it throws and it cuts. much better than my gil hibben throwers.

I always thought the CS thrower did actually make sense! I'll now go and beat myself for being nice to CS..

Please don't do that Paul occasionally good ideas come from the most unexpected places And anyway I may need to pick your brains when my throwing knife project runs into trouble
