Went next door to show my nighbor the DFLE and sheath i made ..... he was impressed but...i got the old - it was how much? thats too purdy to do any real choppin... it aint gonna hold up

so as any dog who gets his fur ruffled... i had to show him------
there was a piece of maple in front of his garage so i grabbed it and started choppin - dont hurt yourself son was all he said and one minute later (and wood chips all over the place) the thing was cut in half. lemme look at that knife he said "fudge... thats one hellov a knife". now i know he will not buy one (i got an olde Marbles axe that would done the same thing he said)
but the look on his face was priceless as he was examining the edge.... no chopping in progress pics but here is what i took a few minutes ago..

he is an older guy....not very computer literate....showin him how the DF works in real life was the only thing that would impress him...
then again...he still swears by that old Marbles axe...
