I am way out of touch. I still don't get the embrace the suck one.

I think its from the movie "jarhead". throughout the movie they would quite frequently refer the thier situation as "the suck" for instance when they landed in country they said " welcome to the suck" or there is a fire fight and the radio battery is dead so a soldier run through the fire fight gets a battery and runs back to his foxhole only to find out he grabbed a dead battery his spotter then replies" welcome to the suck"

Thanks for the info. I will have to watch the movie. I am bad about catching current events and movies. I prefer to work around the house rather than sit. Always plenty to do.
