I was just thinking if it was possible for Dan to do, would anyone else be up for an Uncoated,un-finished, full width tang version of a YardKeeper with a skeletonised tang so we could fit our own wood, micarta or paracord wrap handle ?

Especially if it was about 65$ to 70$. Busse Combat has been throwing around the idea of comp finish blades with no coating and a zero edge.

hell, gimme a rough ground piece of stock, doesn't need more than a thick, crude edge.

I would honestly buy anything they produce, but this sounds like a good idea. its kind of what diceman was talking about for a skelly.

A smaller skelly would be cool. I would rather see a yard keeper sized knife have handles. Different options would be nice, maybe wood or micarta.

I'd be interested!
I've done plenty of handle work on all sorts of knives and would love to customize one of Dan's blades, especially if the price is right.
I'll probably eventually do this at some point anyway, it'd be great to not have to destroy a good handle to do it though.
