Vic I couldn't agree more! It is a sweet chopper,fighter,slicer and even makes a hell of a sandwich knife. Althouhg due to the thickness of The Hook it isn't the best on tomatoes! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

It can however take a severe beating and not even bruise! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I wasn't really sure if I'd like the Hook at first, but it grew on me and I've become quite fond of it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I like recurves, but arrived too late at the yard for that one... looks like a great blade.

The Hook is also the only Scrapper that sells for at or even occasionally below
retail. It is always the one I suggest when people come looking for a S6 or DFCG.
It helps that Eric made me the perfect sheath for mine.

I will now be on the lookout for one on the secondary market....

The Hook rocks - I love mine, although I haven't even used it yet! It does sit in my "large BOB" though - I know I can depend on it if the "poop" ever hits the fan...
