If you're talking to me, no. My SY acquisitions have been:
Two S6s (black) from the Yard.
Three YKLEs from the post-Blade Mini Dog Bowl.
Two more S6s (in tan) + Two DMLEs at Knob Creek (Fall 2007).
Four DFLEs from the Yard.
One MOD from the mid-December 2007 Razorganzaaaaa.
Three YKCGs in this last order from the Yard.

Additionally, from the BF: Exchange, I've gotten:
One SS4 w/ leather puukko-style factory sheath.
One Yard Hook with custom kydex (by Brown).
I bought a second (unopened) MOD on Friday; of course it hasn't arrived yet, but I have the tracking number.

I bought equivalent numbers of Busse Combat knives and of Swamp Rats -- the last year has been rather expensive. A sad fact is that I haven't actually used any of my SY knives; The only Busse family knife I used was an olive Swamp Warden that I carried on my belt until somebody at work reported that I had a "weapon", so I had to retire it.

EMF,
That's the way to post recieving your new Scrap Yard Knife Company blade!

You show the reciept of it,you show the grind and beauty of it,
then you take it outside and smack the H3ll out of it!And show us how well it smacks things!
That is a Junior Horn Dog report if I I read one!
Great job EMF, keep up the good posting!

Always take a camera with you on long knife carrying walks!
You never know when you will need to document a vicious tree or shrubery!
I myself have been attacked many times by vicious trees, and Praise God I had my Dog Father with me for protection. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I remember one time recently when my family and I were minding our own business down a beautiful path in a state park
when out of nowhere came a KILLER TREE!

Oak, I beleive...a nasty sort. Poor disposition to say the least,he made the mistake of reaching for my 15 year old daughter
.....that was the mighty Oaks last mistake..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Always be prepared

Peace.

draw first blood?

In the old days—for example the eighteenth century—gentlemen fought “duels of honor” over issues that ranged from serious to trivial to miniscule. At that time duels might be fought either with the single shot pistol or the small sword. The small sword was only relatively small, compared to the older style of dueling with rapier and poignard, or with heavy military sabers.

Tradition had it that the challenged party had the choice of weapon. Once upon a time a short peppery Frenchman visited colonial America. Monsieur le Frog had a considerable reputation as a duelist to maintain. He saw fit to challenge a big American blacksmith over one of those imperceptibly parsed rules of gentleman’s honor. The six foot six inch tall smith looked down at the Frenchman and asked, “I get to choose the weapons and conditions of the duel, right!” The challenger agreed. “Then I choose to fight with sledgehammers, standing in five feet of water.” The Frenchman withdrew the challenge.

Duels were ritualized combats, conducted under strict rules. If the two duelists really hated each other, the duel might be to the death. “Swords for two, breakfast for one.” More often dueling was a game played for social strokes. Lesser duels fought over trivial “insults” would be fought to “first blood.” A heroic passage of arms ended when one fighter pinked the other, producing a wound as serious as you might get while shaving yourself. That was fighting to first blood. As long as both combatants consented, honor was deemed satisfied and the further hostilities were canceled. The two duelists could meet that evening at a levee, and greet each other with the greatest of affability.

Fighting to first blood was considerably harder if the challenged party chose fifty caliber dueling pistols.

by first blood I mean you chopped and/or cut something and posted it first.

The first one to use (and document) the YKCG in action.

I guess I did.
only cause vics computer is messed up though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
I batoned some more with it yestyerday and its so awesome!
I love this knife so much, and I don't normally get so worked up about little knives, so I'm kind of suprised.

P.O.P
I'll remember to stay prepared and watch out for killer trees.

and you be careful, he could have stole your checkbook! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
