so I over did it a little with the duct tape and the cardboard sleeves that my scrapyards came in and decided to do a piggy back "sheath", where I could attatch my yardkeeper if i needed too.

here it is folks... complete with intergrated knife falling out of cardbaord sleeve stopper... I have a patent on this so watch out!

this is one of my quailty pieces of practical craftsmanship and design. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
(watchout jeff and dave!)

and so here is how you detach the yardkeeper. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

the fruits of my labor... my roll of duct tape is slimmed downa bit after this. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I wish I found you before I sent money to rainwalker for my custom piggyback. That's a thing of beauty you created.

And you said you weren't creative emf! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Actually, Andy Naylor made a couple of cardboard/duct tape sheaths last year, and even tried to sell one on eBay. Of course, I don't think he did a piggyback model like YOU did! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I actually used a cardboard/tape sheath for one of my machetes until I got a leather one put together. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I was using a cardboard custom (could be worn horizontal or vertical) for my swamp warder when I first got it. And Rainwalker just returned my cardboard sheath that I made for my crash axe.

Sweet job EMF!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I love the way the Inspected by" sticker still shows! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
That took some planning and great care not to muff that up! Well Done!

For now I going to have to stick with leather for mine, but when Duct Tape and Cardboard sleeves are more En Vogue I will be in touch to place my order from YOU! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
There is a lot of creativity behind those eyes of your EMF! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Keep up the great skills! It will serve you well when you make the more to more stable materials! And I am sure one day with your skills you will!

Cheers!

Peace.
