Be strong for your family as they will be strong for you.
Distance doesn't weaken the strength of these bonds, you just have to look inside a little deeper to feel it.
PoP is right a phone call can and does mean a lot.
The pictures you posted show the love in your family, in that love is understanding.
Do not beat yourself up about not being able to fly home, if you can manage it great. If you can't fly home find comfort in the fact that your loved one's will understand and love you the same.
My grandfather was in hospital fro over 50 days and on a number of occasions they didn't think he would last the night.
Thankfully he's been out now since just before Christmas
If you need to talk you know the yard is here for you
