Terry - hope I didn't come across as "snobbish" - I just re-read my post. Most people associate Gibson with Quality - they ride on that!! - they're a much better company now than they were in the 70's and make some great stuff - but not quite back to where they were "back in the day."
JB - I've always liked the look of that ESP and had to snatch it up! I got it when I was in Korea for under $200 - and although its not one of my main axes, it is one of my favorite looking! About 1/2 of the guitars pictured were purchased in Korea for next to nothing ($1-300).

just so you guys know, real gibsons were made in kalamazoo. after some corporate handshaking the guys who made the instruments that made gibson legendary started their own brand, Heritage guitars.
you want the real deal, you go there. otherwise, you get dice's elitist.
how are you not gonna tell em about the seymour duncan, dice?

Lets see some of your axes Mag!
The black/white pickup in one of the white Les Pauls is a Seymour Duncan "Distortion" pickup - it sounds great - although its not in my #1 guitar, so I don't use it much...
Heritage guitars are where its at - although I think that the guys in the Historic department of the Custom Shop at Gibson are still doing a great job.

i just realized i said your guitar wasn't the real deal. that came out wrong.
if you want a genuine gibson, you go heritage. if you want a great guitar, you get the elitist.
that's better.

Sweet looking guitar Dice!!!! Thanks for posting! If I were to play one instrument it would have been the guitar, but I am not musically inclined.

Dan - you can learn to play a little guitar - its a fun hobby - musically inclined or not! Check out the Epiphone Les Paul Studio, or Epiphone Les Paul Studio Goth - both are great, and $300! Here's my Goth: ![[Linked Image from i163.photobucket.com]](http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t311/dzrice/lpg.jpg)

Nice collection Diceman! All my buds who play moved away and I have not picked up any of my guitars in a while. Looking at your pics makes me want to go and callous up my fingers again.
