Hey all, As a few noticed, I got flushed out in apprentice's thread with the prohibited giveaway. I think I like him, even if he is a rule breaker.
What you care about: I own a Dog Father, LE and have a Dumpster mutt (black, crinklecoat) on the way from a private deal I worked out this week. I've been lusting after it for a good long while now.
What you don't care as much about, but I'll share anyways: I'm a firefighting, gun-toting, sharp lusting, young married southern sympathizer Mormon from Pennsylvania.
If you didn't get all that, the more wordy version is that I am a volunteer firefighter who enjoys gun ownership. I'm partial to glocks in 9mm. I'm in my mid-20's and have been married to the greatest girl in the world for 3 years now. I'm a convert to the LDS church and very active in my duties, working with the young mens organization, and as an assistant scout master. Even tho I live in SE Pennsylvania, I don't get along well politically with many "Yanks", I'm more at home with freedom-loving individuals.
Oh yea... and I have a knife problem now.
I used to carry nothing more fancy than a $2.00 pocket knife from china, however once you break one while using it - it makes you reconsider knives with more substantial capabilities. Once exposed to real quality, the bug had me and it has led me here to scrapyard. I haven't been disapointed in anything except for the availability.
The only other thing worth mentioning I guess is my love of emergency preparedness and survival. I do what I can to "live the life" aside from moving to a cabin in northern Idaho.... yet. In the meantime, I do lots of camping (did two overnights a week ago in coooold weather), and hiking. Life is good, but it's better with quality knives.

Cool pics. That second pic looks like a rappeling prospect. That ledge is just what a first timer dreds. I know I did. Great snow pics. The cold can be brutal, but I find the extreme temps are the best time to test gear. What works for some may not work for others and that's where real deal gear shines.

Thanks, although my rule breaking in this case was purely unintentional. Oh, and don't tell your S/O that I'm the one that brought you here. Just in case they aren't happy with your future purchases that will no doubt ensue. Nice pics, and btw are you any relation to a certain Calvin M.? That would be a small world if you are.

Thanks... the pictures are all courtesy of Mrs. BBB. As far as Calvin M... I don't think I'm related to anybody named that. But I do have a heck of alot of family in my tree... My wifes family tree is all a bunch of "M's".

welcome, were glad you came out. I have worked with scouts for roughly 6 years. It is a great opportunity to get outdoors and motivate young people. welcome
