Thats encouraging. I have accidentally chopped nails before. This looks like one Bad Dog. I can't wait! That test was tougher than anything I am likely to do with a knife.

I think it would make sense to send a tester to Cliff maybe a rejected one with poor grinds or some other defect that would not affect performance but could not be sold. I know his good pinion of the Busse and swamprats as well as the poor reviews of some Ontario Rats had a real influence on my purchases.

Well that's a lot more technical that anything I did. However, I did spend 15 to 20 minutes with the DF and my BR yesterday evening cleaning up a dead/petrified pine that was hung @4" off the ground by some green saplings. The DogFather "felt" like a much better chopper than the Battle Rat. I'm keeping the DF and letting the BR go. Great knife.
