But seriously... part of the fun of being a yard dog is the hunt. If he made a new thread for any old announcement, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. By being discrete and making us work for it - then it's much more fun, and satisfying being on the "in". Altho knives are a big part of Dan's business, I think propaganda is significant too.

I buy it, and I love it.

Add another voice to the clammer for new threads announcing new releases- though I've never missed anything by missing an announcement!

I like Dan's 24 and 48 hour warnings too, just wish he'd start selling the darn knives earlier in the day, not evening US time ie way past bed-time UK time!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

DAN HAS NEVER BURIED AN ANNOUNCEMENT FOR A NEW RELEASE IN A THREAD. HE HAS MADE THE RELEASE DATE AND TIME VERY CLEAR WITH AT LEAST TWO THREADS DAYS APART USUALLY.
JUST TO CLARIFY FOR ALL THOSE NEW DOGS OUT THERE.
