Supposedly there are 4 strains of flu in the wild this season and the shot is only effective against two. Every year it has to be predicted which strains will be common, in order for the shots to be mass produced in time to distribute them. Most years the prediction is accurate, but sometimes it's wrong or incomplete. My sister had the shot earlier this season, and she got the flu last week. She couldn't move much and had to stay in bed for most of the week, so it was a real doozy. Glad you're feeling well enough to release some blades!

I plan to get one of these this time around. The DFLE is just too purdy for what I'll end up doing to it.

Hope I score, but if not I guess it'll just be more I can spend on the next release.

I haven't got the flu in 35 years. I seem to do well against viruses, but fungi gives me a very hard time.

good to see your back...

no flu shots for me, as I consistently catch it from the shot, so its better I take my chances with the real bugs. This year, my hole family (wife and kids) were visiting the folks... and the all the folks got a really bad bug. About 1 week later, my entire house gets it.. and I am the only one it skipped,.. this time.

Glad you're feeling better. I had a nasty one knock me down for a couple days, even after the shot. Happy to be rid of it.

As an FNG, I just wanted to clarify if we order through the storefront, or if we put in our order by email, when the time is right? I got's ta get me some!
