Maybe Dan will clear it up soon. I was thinking of the flat ground "Urban Mutt" that was more like the DMLE than the original. Better knife, too, IMO.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Welcome back Dan and welcome Jason. A person can't own too many DF's, I think.

When I first read the post I was actually relieved, or rather my cc was. I have an original df and don't think I need a second, but if this is a flat ground I'm definately in. Hopefully dan will weigh in tonight.

I am in either way although I am in for 2 if they are flatties.
I may also pick up a spare DF nylon sheath. If they are flatties I would be thrilled because then we would have the ultimate comp knife without having to mod the soon to be rare and valuable DFLE.

Here are some of the things that gfive me hope for a flattie.

1 the military would prefer lighter weight.
2 the DFLE was made around the same time.
3 The urban mutt was precedent setting.
4 the DFLE was very popular and considered an improvement.
5 A flat ground DFCG would be the coolest knife ever.
6 I really want one.
7 grasping at straws.

A flat ground dfcg overrun limited qty will sell out in less then 15 min is my prediction. I would be in favor of 1 per customer, like the mod was

I'd rather they didn't limit to just one. I'm building my MOD collection, but it's noticeably more expensive to buy them from folks on the secondary market.

At the risk of being confrontational, what exactly do you mean by "lurkers". I buy in multiples, and while I tell myself that they're a good investment, I haven't sold any knives for more than they cost me, so I don't consider myself to be a "flipper". So, please explain what you're calling me.

If you never sell for more than you paid, everyone will be calling you " Best Buddy " so get ready for the e-mails from those that miss out !!!!

I am not calling you anything, dont take things the wrong way
Its a small military overrun, I dont think people who didnt snag one might be upset if you get more than one
I bet Dan will put a limit on how many people can order though
lets keep the peace here
