I guess it was bound to happen. I have really enjoyed pushing Dan's blades to the limits. However, I have a really bad feeling that I pushed a little too far today with my Dog Father. Long story short, I finally got out of the house after being cooped up for almost two months by the crazy weather. On the plus side, I had a nice campfire and Tikka finally had a good run. I just think I went a little over the top with some of the uses I put my Dog Father to. To put things in perspective, I have never heard of even a Busse Combat blade dealing with this type of use. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

Anyways, I've got some photos that I'll put up once I finish getting them downloaded & resized. With a bit of luck Dan will check in and let me know if I still have a warranty or if I need to be really fast on Friday! Worse case scenario, hopefully some of the members here can learn from my actions.

I have to say though, the day here started off great. Tikka and I were able to get out for the first time in a little over two months. It has simply been too cold to go out for leisure.

Although, I probably need to wait to see what you "DID"..... As Tikka is composed of roughly 98% pure energy & she hasn't been out for a run in 2 months, she was moving!

I managed to grab this shot when she passed me at approximately mach 3.4. If you look closely, you can see the visual distortion behind her from the trailing sonic boom.

That "IS" a very happy looking dog and very pretty looking country.... But, WAY too cold for living in - That is for visiting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Being pent up for 2 months will do that to a dog. My dogs get like that after about 3-4 days. They don't seem to know what to do with themselves and seem to feel they must do it ALL - for fear of possilby not being able to do it again for more than 24 hours - or something ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

I went for a while on a well packed trail, but I knew there was a little lake hidden further back in the bush. I found this animal trail and decided to follow it. The woods were just beautiful as we have had so much more snow than usual!


Tikka took off ahead, but she is always good to come back when I call her. Once I got to the edge of the lake (pond?) I called her back. It took a bit as the snow got quite deep here!
