I think its just the grooves in the knife flowing to the top that create that apperance.

I haven't heard from Busse yet and Karnack says he sees a rock in my future. I was less than a minute from the 'go' too. Oh well.

Jerry posted the GO at 9:27, and my email is timestamped 9:30:03. I'm not sure why mine worked its way through the process before yours unless you provided several alternates and want Customs.

I'm not up for the Customs, so I only requested overruns with no alternates; they may have had enough of those to satisfy everybody's requests. If you requested Customs, they could be balancing different customer request combinations to see how they can satisfy the most, but that's just speculation on my part.

They also said 1 to 8 weeks for shipping. It seems like overruns would be on hand, so I'd be surprised if I'm not on the shorter end of that range. That's both good and bad, it'll be good to have them, but this month is turning out to be pricey.

Well I have this thing for SFNOs so I did indeed choose a custom in addition to a cultie. Maybe I can still get a cultie. Last ganza they said they didn't receive my email. Since I sent from gmail I'd be a little surprised if it didn't go through this time judging by the fact that I didn't get a bounce message.

Anyway, no sense speculating since I'm sure the suspense will end soon <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You will hear one way or another! i also used gmail and it went through just fine.

They must have been pounded though. They figured 10 days to get through all the email! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

those "grooves" are called fullers or "blood grooves"
they stiffen the blade

Actually, on a Busse they are called CBT for Corrugated Bevel Technology. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

interesting
I can see why Jerry uses them, they lighten and stiffen the blade
I would love to see a scrapper with CBT
res-c and CBT sounds like a preformer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Jim,
That is one awesome blade, congrats on your score! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I viewed all nine pages of Ganzaa goodies and there sure were some beautes, but I decided to wait for Dan's next release. I'm on a beer budget again. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

Reckon I'll just live vicariously through folks like you for now.
