Dan, any hints on when the next release would be? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I've missed out on this run of DFs, because of work... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> and I'm really hanging for a new Yard blade...
Hints? Just something to look forward to in the mean time... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I doubt Dan will say, but I am hoping for the Scrap-Weiler Concept! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> : The SS-3.5 concept based on the Busse Active Duty with mudders like the SS4 would be second on my list: <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> ...... oh... you said "when" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> .

I want an 18"-19" khukuri but I'd probably buy anything over 14" total length. I'd definitely get an SS4 or SS3.5 if they made some, especially in Res-C/INFI.

Something smaller for EDC hopefully. SS4 would be awesome.

K.G. I really like those "Proto" pix!!!
Great job...now please have Dan make us some just like it!
Now to my shared birthday Mate Big Ocean.
I feel your pain from Down Under. The Dog Father is a MUST HAVE blade for all Dogs. It stinks that after all the time you have been a member in The Yard you are STILL waiting for a Dog Father to clear those Aussie scrub branches!
I pray that one day you too will feel the unreal power of the Dog Father. It is nuts! On to the topic.... I still want a 3 inch blade in SR-77!!
  A necker, a Warden, a three inch drop point dirt digging SR-77 blade! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
One that you could carve out a fire pit from hard dirt with, batton through low dead branches with skill for your fire, then clean your fish with kind of knife!
I see myself digging in the garden out front with my 3 incher, planting the next crop of beauty's that will Rise Up! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Rise Up... LOL that's our license plate for our car here.
So Dan....bring on that tiny blade and shut me up!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

  Peace.

Doug,
  I like your concepts, let's hope the next release SR-77 for the big em's and "Numbers and letters" for the small ones. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
  Big Dog,
whatever knife you choose to release, please don't take toooo long! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

  Dave,
I've had a DF, but sold it to a mate, because I needed $ at the time... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> It was a CHAMP, from the little time I had using it. Sure miss it... Now, maybe I'll trade it back for something he wants (FBM)... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I hope Dan does Knifeguy's Scrap-weiller concept in tan and sage or even black and black. Either will be awesome!! I think the lines on the green bladed concept above are very refined, also practical, it'd be a heck of a tree beater at 7.5".
  A 154CM Knifeguy SS3.5 wouldn't hurt either!

who cares what he releases... its just redicuous that they last for 35 minutes. all that people ever talk about on here is what he might or should release... every thread is the same... i seldomly see dog threads where they are reviewing a blade that they bought.. and it makes being a supporter tough when the co. you are trying to support doesnt keep product out steadily...

Obviously, you don't read Vic's threads. He's always reviewing. Chris, Dan, and a few others are always posting threads about using their knives. As far as getting the knives, they are like Busse Combat, or Swamp Rat knives. If you know when they come out they are easy to get, if you don't they are impossible to get except for the aftermarket. The only Bussekin knife I've had trouble getting is the Swamp Rat warden(I think that's what it's called). You haven't been around SR long enough to realize that they also go through extended periods with no knives available. The mini mojo may have set a record for availability.
