you guys make me want to spend too much money. I still haven't gotten my dogfather confirmation. Maybe if I didn't get through in time, I'll still grab an ASH-1. Its weird having all that money out in limbo.

What is the blade thickness on those, it is a 1/4" or is it thicker?

Nah - the RD7 (@7.5") is great, and one of my favorite knives, but the ASH1 has a lot more weight to its blade, even though its a full inch shorter. My money is on the ASH1 outchopping the RD7 and Hook - I'll report back on that once I actually get out to the woods with it, though. I would be very interested in this. the ash looks great but I would go for the cheaper RD7 or CW.
