BTW, because of the thick and wide blade, and I guess the one piece Titanium too, the SR-1 is a little heavier than some of the other Titanium folders, but I don't have a problem with the weight.
Mine weighs 7.1 oz.

Interesting info on the HK. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I know what you mean on the choppers.
Aside from my Lion Steel SR-1 which I'm still very impressed with, I've recently acquired a Spyderco Manix 2, I'm very happy with it as well... after Modding it with a low ride clip that is. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I wish they would allow legal auto carry here... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Which version of the Manix II did you get?

Which version of the Manix II did you get? It's just the regular black production version. I'm really diggin it too!! I've learned to use my fingers to pull the mechanism back and then flick the blade open, and then the same motion in reverse to close it... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I've got a large Manix 1 and it's a little big and heavy for EDC, but the Manix II is just right, I've been carrying the Manix II clipped in one pocket and the SR-1 in the other. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> I hear that ESEE & DPX have got a new H.E.S.T. folder in the works, made by Lion Steel with a D2 blade, Titanium Handles, and the Rotoblock too!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> I can't wait to see what that one is gunna be like! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I want to take this opportunity to publically thank a fellow Dog, Our own "MR T" Toney The Tonester! Yup, He hooked me up and I didn't even realize at first that I considered these as My GRAIL BABIES! But thanks to the tonester, for his above and beyond I am now the Proud Papa of this, my "Little Sebbie" (that's her name) ![[Linked Image from farm5.static.flickr.com]](http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4075/4803533599_cd4129c09f.jpg) And this is her mothers brother, "Uncle Um" who Promises to always look out for her (as if she couldn't take care of herself) ![[Linked Image from farm5.static.flickr.com]](http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4135/4804164818_1a277f6a3a.jpg) IF you ever have any dealings with Tonester, He'll treat you like family, GUARANTEED! Again, Thank You Toney. I Couldn't have gotten them without you.

I like the looks of that SR-1. I was just notified that my titanium Spyderco Military is on its way...can't wait to get it.
Hey RW- That Manix is a sweet knife...I got the Carbon fiber S90V version and I love it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
