Yea. None my knives can do that, except of course, my Bear Grylls knife. ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/RAT/hestfolder1.jpg)

Oooooo a Bear Grylls knife,Pics? I did a comparison with the Bayley Bear Grylls knife and the YKLE a long time ago on this forum. But this is a folder thread, so I must abide by the rules and not discuss other knives on this forum. When I get the HEST folder, I'll do a comparo with it, the Rat Trap, and maybe the ZT301. BTW: The HEST folder will be made by Lion Steel in Italy.

Sweet Vic!!!! I'd love to see that comparo!!The HEST/F has more "extras" to offer but I think the ZT will be on the stronger side.
The S30V will probably be easier to sharpen than the HEST D2 as well.
Would make a great comparison though. Can't wait!!

I fell in love with this one the instant I laid eyes on it. Looks like a heavy duty knife and it carries the ESEE warranty as well, so you know it is intended to be used hard.

I just picked up this Hinderer XM-18 with a 3.5 inch blade. It fits my hand very well and is built extremely tough. I especially like the "spanto" blade shape that is half spear point and half tanto. ![[Linked Image from i921.photobucket.com]](http://i921.photobucket.com/albums/ad54/alaskaneagle/Hinderer-XM18_3.jpg)

the XM-18 used to be my grail, but the prices on those are just to ridiculous for me. if i could afford one i would get one. now i have my eyes set on the SR-1! its a wait for it but the price is just right for me!
