Sounds like the new material will be a good step up from S30V.

Say hello to my new EDC . . . So here's the rest of the story on the William Henry knife stand. When I purchased my EDC E6-4, I told the owner of the jewelry store that I was a "knife guy". I guess it made an impression on him. After I had wrapped up my purchase and was getting ready to leave the store, he stopped me and said he had something for me. He reached under a counter, pulled out a William Henry magnetic knife display stand, and handed it to me. He said he no longer had a use for it because he was closing out the line and if I didn't want it, he was just going to throw it away. Here's what it looks like. (PS: Notice the lanyard conversion on the EDC. ): ![[Linked Image from i159.photobucket.com]](http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t141/bld522/EDCE6-407.jpg) I've never seen one of these stands outside of a dealership. So I asked the William Henry reps about it when I attended the Plaza Cutlery Knife Show on Sunday, 10/3. They told me the stands are part of a dealer display kit and that they're NFS. Needless to say, with a 25% discount on a William Henry EDC and a free William Henry knife stand to boot, I was (and still am) a VERY happy camper! Great story Bruce & the knife looks much better in your pic,it's a beauty. Congrats again.

This thread drifted down a little...
Anyone have the Spyderco Gayle Bradley? Seen a few lately and they are tempting. Always wanted a hard use folder...

Just sent my money in for my HEST folder, anyone else? I pre-ordered one of the non-serial numbered HEST folders, but no word on shipping or payment yet.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

and the ZT 0551 should be ready to ship any day now! The SR-1 is absolutely awesome! I love mine, been EDCing it ever since the Blade show. Admitedly I don't use it for everything, but it's there if I need it. It's definately my favorite frame locks, I really like the RotoBlock. I'm gunna have to get a HEST folder too, eventually, but since I already have a SR-1, I haven't been in a rush to pre-order.
