I've got two orders placed for HEST folders! However, I need to cancel one because one place I've purchased from in the past is where I would prefer to buy from. It's gonna be a happy end of the year gift to myself!

I have orders placed for the HEST limited edition and for the mass production version. Also have pre-orders in for the Spyderco paramilitary in Carbon fiber and S90V and the Spyderco Sage 3. Now I wait.

I've been trying out my newest EDC... The Leatherman MUT, for a couple of weeks now, so far I'm happy with it. I haven't had any real opportunity to really work it out though, but so far so good.
The only issues I have with it so far are, that there's a few rough/sharp edges that need to be smoothed, and I wish they'd make a model without those serrations, and an upgraded blade steel like 154.

Hey RN, to me the blade seems short for the handle length.

I was looking at the MUT last weekend. I think I am going to get the black Charge ALX which does have the 154 blades. I am waiting on a sterile version of the HEST LE folder too.

The Charge is nice I've got couple of the regular TI Charge's, that's probably one of the best and most comfortable models that Leatherman makes and I like the fact that they offer a slightly better blade steel. I tend to carry a Surge more often, because I like the interchangable T-shank saw blades. I really wish they'd make a Surge sized version of the Charge with the interchangeable saw blade option. Speaking of wishing, it would be nice to have a MUT with the Dyke type wire cutters in place of the pliers too. For a while it looked like SOG might be coming out with that in a multitool called the Power Cut, but it may never happen now. I always ask them about it every year at Blade, and the last time I asked, I was told that the project had been put on the back burner for now...
