Nice folder RN, that looks like a good one, I really like the looks of the liners, I prefer more robust liners to some of those that have thin liners and a thick handle material.

Can anybody identify this model Strider? It seems nice and compact and has contoured handles vs. the standard flat ones.

I would guess it's one of their concealed carry models.

I'm in the market for a high end frame lock folder...debating between the Strider PT-CC or upcoming ESEE/DPX HEST...

Never been a fan of Striders, but the PT-CC is appealing. Small package, contoured handles, tough, and simple looking.

Originally, I hated the DPX HEST with all the stuff going on, but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me, and now I love it.

I think I might just go with the DPX HEST because of the price tag.

Pinky, Just my 2cents. Look at which one you thing is "Prettier", more asthetically appealing to you. Then think about the blade shape/size. WHAT are you going to carry it for? WHAT are you going to use it to cut? MOST of the time when I am considering a knive purchase, I first look at how pretty it is. Then I consider the size and what I will REALISTICALLY be carrying it for, using it to cut WHAT.

1. Looks
2. size
3. Realistic use
4. price

And NOT necessarily in that order. Hope this has helped some Pinky.

pvt snoballz - Sweet, let us know how you like it. I considered that folder as well, but seems a little bulky for my liking.

skunk - I really prefer the strider pt-cc over the esee/dpx hest. They're about the same size and will be my EDC. The strider is simple, just the way I like it. The dpx has all these "extras" and flash I don't like, but the price, quality, and warranty makes it very appealing and I may just have to overlook the negatives.
