I love my new Pocket Jack carver. Great carbon steel blades that comes super sharp. There is a step up from the Pocket that is nice too, the Carvin. It has two more tools and wood inlay on the handle. It is also twice the price. But both are great for bushcraft or good old carvin'.

This is my new folder I got over the holidays. It's a lockback that has a Detail Knife, Straight Gouge, Scorp and V- Scorp. Perfect for carving in the bush. Looks like a really useful blade.

I got a little black oxided Kershaw Leek from my brother the other day. He said after carrying it for a bit that he wanted something a little larger. He let me have it for 25 bucks. I put a razor edge on it and love the flick option to say the least. I will be carrying it more often since my mini-dejavu came up missing.

I love a Leek! I have several Blurs, and just got a Leek a couple weeks ago. It's now probably my favorite EDC knife.

I edc a black shallot...very slim & pocket friendly. No titanium or g10,just a ss framelock with very solid lockup & imo a beautiful recurve blade. (& speedsafe.) Like HD said earlier in this thread, the assisted openers are pert near as fast as an auto, more solid & leagle where autos aren't. Well most places anyway.

Congrats on the Carver, I've got the Carving Jack (found it on the exchange a while back at a good price and couldn't resist). I haven't had an opportunity to actually use it yet, but I'm sure it'll come in handy eventually. I used to really enjoy wood carving, it's hard to find the time for it these days though...

Are the Hinderer XM-18's made of Unobtainium? They certainly seem unobtainable to me.
