I cancelled my preorder when RYP blew up over on BF. I had second thoughts about it, but stuck to my guns and didn't reorder. I'm not regretting that, even though there have been some good ones along with the bad ones. Thanks for the update Tony.

No more DPX gear for me, at least not folders. I finally got a good one, but I think the ZT0350 is plenty good enough.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Now I am glad I stuck to my reservations about them. With my luck I would have gotten a lemon every time.

I've got the same kind of luck myself

I will count myself as a lucky one as my DPX HEST has not failed me, or had the problems pictured. To be honest, I count myself really lucky as I am generally the guy that gets the POS. Sure hate to hear that I am one of the few.

I canceled my preorder for the DPx. There are just too many good companies to mess with a bad one. People putting up with BS is part of the problem with the world today.

So, what's with all the new things PoP?

Honestly I sold off some custom knives in the past couple of weeks. Needed some pick me up toys to feel better about myself.
Moneys been tight for all of us I'm sure, but when I get the bug for new toys the old new toys are the first to go.

So I made about a grand selling my pretties of E-Bay. Now I'm in the process of spending every last penny of that Pay Pal windfall.

Yesterday I went to a "Muffler Shop" in Janesville WI. and through the language barrier we understood enough that I ended up with a oil change
and a 3 inch in and out Magnaflow Flowmaster Super 44 muffler on my sweet
98 Jeep 360 Magnum. Sounds like ..... well you boys know that feeling in your nethers when you go up or down on a roller coaster?
yeah, that's what it does to me when I hear it.

I'll post a You Tube link this weekend and let ya'all here it too.

NOW back to spending more money. Benchmade BM-755 M.P.R.
Shane Seberts design nick named Mini Pocket Rocket.
Using Bohler's UBER steel CPM-M-390. Read a LOT ,well actually every word I could find in print on the new ultra clean super steel.

Using this incredible steel is really OVERKILL on a pocket knife. But don't we ALL love overkill in our knives?

Read both positive and negatives on all the forums about the 755 MPR I fall into the love it category.
Fills my beefy hand. Opens with a flick of my thumb. No wrist,no assisted crap, just a silky smooth action.
The Titanium everywhere is groovy. The hashed G-10 scale is lustrous.
DEAD center ROCK solid lock ups.

Shaves Asian beetles wings off in flight. Rides VERY low and weighs a scant few ounces.
NO DLC coating on ANY of my knives. I want to see that steel, unless of course it's a Scrapper.
Here's my pix.

7 inches overall with a 2.75 inch cutting edge.

I had one of the first 1000 run from Benchmade. I loved it but had to send it in to Benchmade. We could never get the stop pin issue resolved...

The knife was sold.

My Dejavoo is great, Benchmade is a good company.

I'd buy another 755 in a heartbeat if they had a good tight fitting standard round stop pin. I had the same problem with a Benchmade 760 and which has the same stop pin.

My EDC lately has been my 3" Hinderer.

Overall a nice package, however I need to break out the water stones for it. The last 3/16" of the blade was missed for sharpening (you can see the flat edge reflect light).

That aside, I really like the tumbled spanto blade and the overall feel of th eknife.

Jared- if you have a couple minutes- could you snap a photo of the para2 with the zt 0550(1)?? Trying to figure out just how much bigger it is. I love that blade, but I don't know if I could carry it. The para and manix 2 are about as big as I can carry pretty much...

Did some selling and Im up in the air on a RMDx vs the ZT...

I'm going to sell an Emerson and Benchmade to partially fund another Strider...that I said I would never buy again...

I'm also going to pick up a couple FRN flat ground Spydercos. I've got a pretty good deal on them. One for the wife in bright pink too!

So my new rotation will either be beasty and expensive or light and inexpensive. Not as much middle ground. The FRN spydies are alot of knife for the money.
