Good one, Randy. Our current minister of foreignaffairs recently stated, that he believed the US army had a secret underwater military installment beneath the polar ice. Well, some politicians are just plain stupid. Or have spend much time watching Star Wars... You mean we don't! ON the Ice I could believe, but under the ice, under water, I don't think so.

Wow, I really like that blade. Slight tanto, and yet not.

Was reading in Blade magazine today where Emerson made a special 25th anniversary CGC6. Has 12 ounces of silver in the handle slabs. They said the guy that made the handles had over 100 hours in them.
Then in I guess 2011 he made another more "Using" knife. It comes with two blades, one for using (yeah right) and one made out of steel from the WTC building that has in inscription on it.
Seems an unidentified Seal came up to Emerson at a show one time and said
"We will not relent. We will not rest. We will not fail. The opposite side of the blade is marked "In memory of Operation Extortion 17" over "August 5, 2011" this is in memory of the Seals and Army aviators who lost their lives over Afghanistan. Also one of the bolsters are inscribed with the Navy Seal Trident and the other one the Army Aviation Badge.

Thanks for sharing that info on the Emerson!
On another note, anyone with thoughts on the Spyderco Atlantic Salt? I ordered one with SE as a carry knife on site with my high reflective clothing I wear. Seems like it has not gotten a lot of reviews etc, maybe a bit of a sleeper?
