Yep I am one of the chosen few and I am glad for it, at least working around the scum of the earth everyday has some benefits. lol Yes it will be the 3.5 flipper now I just have to decided what blade and color combo I want.

Thank you for your service. If you would like to further discuss Hinderer XMs or would like photos and such, feel free to contact me. PM, e-mail, whatever. I own a few and have the 3.5 in both Spanto and Slicer. I also carry and use them so I can offer that perspective. And I also own not only the ZT collabs (from Cryo to 0560) but some of the very popular CRK (Large 21)and Strider (SMF) knives. I'll happily share information and opinions. I do not bash any of these makers, but we can compare and contrast all you like.

Haven't really participated in this thread much, because Scrap doesn't make a folder. Ventured into the CRK world recently. Bought matching Insingo's for me and my dad. Really nice knife...I'm loving it very much. Mine gets carried daily. Couldn't have asked for a better feel...sturdy, yet refined...smooth, yet functional. ![[Linked Image from i99.photobucket.com]](http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l287/Izhmash/IMG_0204_zps5f967b23.jpg)

The sheep don't like to see big fixed blades, so I carry the next best thing in my pocket its nice to know I have a piece of steel in my pocket I can rely on for almost anything.

I think those of us that are the sheep dogs shouldn't spook the herd the farmers in DC do that enough for us.

Opinions differ and that's why discussions exist. I would not call many of the knives from ZT, etc. "ginormous". There are far more impractical very large folding knives on the market. Some highly praised by the "mall ninja" types. I carry gear that I know will do what I need done when I need it. I cannot trust anything that may fail when I need it the most. When I carry a fixed blade, I only carry small fixed blades. A fixed blade the size of a deployed 4"-bladed folder is not practical for my needs. Those knives may be nearby in a vehicle or similar, but on my person, a robust and dependable folder is my choice.

I've chimed in before, but Since the Insingo (I would LOVE one of those) was mentioned...
I ALWAYS (well if I have on real pants, not just lounging around the house) carry two knives. My small Sebenza Classic MM with black micarta inlays and My emerson combat Karambit (that hopefully will never leave my pocket).
But as of late I have additionally been carrying my Umnumzaan. Now THAT is a sturdy blade, plus the blade with the raised "Rhino horn tip" looks SWEET!
