Hey, Dogs!

My Dunpster Mutt kydex sheath is first rate however the Tek-Lok plate places the knife too tight against my out-of-shape torso.

Does anyone know of a source that may offer a "drop down" type of Tek-Lok attachment so that the sheath rides a little lower on the belt? Thanks!

I'm wondering if a piece of rectangular kydex, sort-of an extender with holes would do it? Maybe Rainwalker or Leatherface have some idea's. They are our resident makers/craftsmen. could you turn/re-screw the the plate for a horizontal or more diagonal carry?

Blade Tech does make an Offset drop attachment that can be seen here:

WD's right, I bet a good piece of kydex would work too, if it's made right. Although the Blade Tech attachment might be a bit stronger.

Send me a PM, leighman, if I can help.

I have some of the dropp down BladeTech attachments that I have used for pistol rigs. They work pretty well, but they are not cheap. BladeTech makes quality stuff and you pay for it.

This sort of belt attachment would probably work for you. Just a basic kydex loop but dropped down a bit. Rainwalker or Leatherface could make something like this for you pretty easily. If your rivets are set to accomodate a large TekLok, then this would be pretty straightforward.
