The S6 is the best all-around combat/utility knife ever made, IMO. And yet in a recent competition, the S6 scored well behind the DFLE as Dan's best knife so far. You'd think that an all-around combat/utility knife would do better than a chopper. But apparently not. I think the upcoming S7 will !!!

Ah,cool thanks fellow dogs. Latley most of the time I could just take a quick overlook over the forum. BTW,my two DFLEs made it here since around two weeks ago. They are my first scrappers.Dreaming of a LE Yard keeper or LE S6 as companions.I can imagine the S7 could be a super compromise out of DF + S6. So S7LE as next would be something.

Alex - I was in Cologne last week for a few hours. Cathedral and the Romanisch museum were all I managed to see. Awesome sights both!
  :end hijack)
You definitely made no mistakes with a pair of DFLEs as your first scrappers. I wish I had ordered one (or more) spare(s)!

You simply can't go wrong with an S6. It is a huge amount of knife performance for it's weight yet it remains very neutral in the hand. I voted for S6 over DF in the poll

Cool, glad you liked it.It's a sight when you come from one of the shopping streets and suddenly stand in front of the Cathedral, isn't it? Are you situated around the corner so to speak?Netherlands/Belgium or France?Or did you came over from the US? Alex
