The End: I'm thinking these will sell out fast. The last offering from the yard only lasted 54 mins!

Bruce - I don't know enough about the system used at the Scrapper store - if you have something in you cart, is it officially "spoken for" like it is a Busse Combat? I don't think it works that way in the Swamp, though. Not sure about here.
I think it is probably faster to have your info preloaded w/ an account, but faster doesn't matter if it causes a freeze up as it did for you I guess.
T.E. - they can go fast! IF you are here on time, though - you should have no problem scoring. It may even hold out for a couple hours - or days even, but to be safe... be on time!

well, it's obviously not AS corrosion resistent, but I doubt anyone will have any rust problems. even if you use them for three or four days straight. idk though.
I think doublecut finishes are smoother like satin finishes,(so it will cut and slice better) but more protective than a satin finsish.(even though not as corrosion resistent) even the uncoated 5160 and 1095 I have doesn't get rust and a bead blast can't be THAT much more prone to rust. I don't normally have rust problems with knives anyway though so I guess I can't really say for sure, but I don't think I will have any problems. I hope I can get it though.

The End: Why don't kitchen knives have coated blades?
Answer: Because they cut much better without.

nick, you're on crack. if you smear enough petroleum jelly on a blade, it won't matter what it's coated with, and it'll cut just fine. I'm just used my yard hook to cut some doughnuts in half so I could fill them with cheeze whiz, no problem.
