I've been millin' around here for a while now, figue it's time to show my face. Maybe it'll change my luck on the next design. I put a few hours into the last "Farewell to Texas" run with no luck. Man Im sure you guys/gals have heard it all before, and I aint gonna cry like the last new guys post, but man I'll tell ya... Id... rather have someone kick me in the family jewels than have to miss out on the next run. And if someone thinks sitting at your comp. for 2 hrs. clicking on the "Place Order" link while pulling your hair out only to be defeated by the mass order push, then maybe this isnt the knife for you. Oh one more thing If I dont get one on the next run, I'm gonna beat the dog, yell at my neighbor and fall on the floor like a whiney 13 yr old. And I will keep doing that everytime I miss out, because I GOTTA FREEKIN HAVE ONE!! (end rant)

Welcome Robert!

I too had two chances to score and ended up pressing my patience only.

Some people got plenty though and depending on the reviews if it's a must have I'll suck it up and buy one from the scalpers on that other forum.

But the next NEW release is what I am really looking forward to!

No telling what it will be made from or what shape and size it will be either! I think that mystery is what has me so excited for a NEW release as well.

Welcome again to The Yard Robert! Thanks for taking the time to sign up and chime in! You may find you like it here. Many wandering steel junkies have!

Peace.

Welcome Robert65!!!

Sorry to here you didn't get one of the DMDCs... join the club... but there's still a lot of steel to be offered in the yard (and elsewhere).

You might also want to check out the other Busse Kin Knives.

I must admit, I don't have a Scrapyard Knife either. I've only got one Swamprat and one Busse. I'm hoping to grab some more Busse Kin knives in the future, especially a Scrap Yard (maybe the next release ).

Good luck on your hunt for some of the best user knives and take some time to dive into the yard. It's a great forum.

I think this guy is serious and for his family's, neighbor's, and future family's sake I hope he gets one.

Anyways Welcome to the Year Robert65, as you have proably figured out by now this a great place with some really good folks, please stick around and post often.

maybe you can get a fellow dog or someone on this forum that you know or something to pick one up for you or something... not really sure how they do it, I think they have to charge you extra shipping though (to ship the knife to you) but I'm not sure.
ask around, (I don't m,ean to colunteer anyone here) I know there are some guys that do this so... idk.
maybe...
and hopefully.. for you dog/neighbors/family sake.

Thanks for the welcomes guys. And I love my dog and family(neighbor ..eehh). I have never been one to post alot in forums but, I hope people here will understand That that last "New Guy" post just absolutly TICKED ME OFF!! (this is a family forum and I respect the rules.. nuff said.
The fact is that I have a CG ASH1 on order but was hoping to grab a DMLE for my wife. Shes not a big knife person but I AM!! You fellers know what I mean (snicker) The thing is I, really cant afford the ASH1, but because I pay careful attention to what is happening in the world, and I REFUSE to purchase anything but the best for my family and what is to come. And when I hear someone talk like a ninny and whine like a baby, It just reminds me of why we are in so much [censored] trouble in this country and why I have to be in such a rush to prepare for whats coming. I buy things that I know will last through the worst, and it's frustrating when I think about poeple who think that way and who will buy a CHINESE made AMERICAN FLAG just because its cheaper and has bells and whistles.....uhg I shouldn't post this and I may get banned or deleted and I have gone off a little, but that guys post really made me wig. I apologize to anyone (including that guy) that I may have offended. I am temtpted to delete this but I drank enough today not to care if I sound like a nut....

Welcome to the Yard Robert! Yes, new releases can be a tough test on your computer, internet provider, and your nerves.

First rule: don't be late. Sometimes the server acts up. You want to have multiple chances to get your order in.

Second rule: F5 like you mean it. You want to be at your computer the second the item goes up for sale. If you're only checking every couple minutes, you're probably going to be behind when the knife goes up on the site.

Third rule: be prepared by being signed into your account and have your account information up to date. The entire shipping screen can be filled in two mouse clicks if your information is up to date.

Fourth rule: have your credit card ready. If you have to fumble around you lose even more time.

Fifth rule: Smile. It is pretty funny to think of a bunch of grown men and women punching F5 on their computer for an hour to score a knife.

Excellent tutorial.

Might I also suggest going to big knife shows.

No, that's more competition than I need

Next Blade West I want you guys to spend a lot more time with Troy while I'm at the Busse table
