I'd also have liked a bit more info about "anticipated" delivery dates. However, I also understand that some people would take that as a promise rather than a guess, and get mad if dates slip. So, while I understand why it happens, it doesn't prevent daily disappointment at not having a package, even though it's unlikely that I should look for one yet.

The way SY works is all knives come to me first for distribution. For some reason I have found way too many problems to send them out to the customers so I have had to use all of these now defunct blades.

It always seemed a bit odd to me, but I usually received knives as quickly as anyone else in the Yard. I live in Indiana (near Louisville, KY), which is a long way from Spring, TX -- perhaps it's a delivery hub for the USPS too. Louisville calls its airport "International", but that's technically only true if you're a UPS package.

Shouldn't an email also go out stating that the knives have shipped? I know that I read that somewhere and since they are using USPS Click N Ship an email notification is automatically an option.

The way the store is currently setup, Patti has to manually mark the order as shipped & then the store notifies you. We don't get a tracking number unfortunately, however it is something they indicated they would work on!
