And they're gone.

Yup, M60 Surefire P6 drop in LED replacement modules. They produce 235 or so lumens and will run for an hour and a half at that level. He's also got a couple that aren't a bright if you are looking for more of a worklight. I have one of his M60L modules in my old 6P and I have to say that it's given the light a new lease on life. I hadn't been using it much because the old xenon lamp was such a battery hog. Now with the M60L I get 140 lumens for 4.5 hrs. The LL (low low output) version does 80 lumens for 8 hrs. All runtimes are based on 2xCR123 batteries.

Bombproof solid brass construction.

Here: I tried to make it more knife-related. A comparison to some SY Steel. In terms of sheer lumens, it's close. Dan can put a pretty good shine on the blade when he tries.

It might help some of us light challenged folks if you actually put a link to where it's at. Of course, CO may not like that, but it's worth a shot.

Sorry Ted,

I figured that people that would be interested in this sort of thing would know where to look. Anyway, Gene Malkoff is a small one-man shop producing the highest quality LED modules I've ever seen. You can check his site out at http://www.malkoffdevices.com

His stuff is much like Dan's; It's the best you can get, at a reasonable price.

He runs sales in a similar manner. You can sign up for a 'go' email that lets you know when he's got stock posted on the site. Over the past two weeks, he's added stock on Mondays, around 1300hrs PDT. Usually sells out in minutes.

Thanks. I wonder if I'll be sorry I asked. I need another addiction like I need a hole in my head. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
