Big congrats Dan. Those are a couple of the most awesome sheaths I've ever seen. It's clear Jeff put a lot of thought and care into both the design and the execution. He's a mad man!

Dan,

I really like that design! It is in a word... perfect!

Every time I see the level of my dear friends work it leaves me speechless.

I have said before that I have unreal expectations for my leather work and every time I get a new piece from Jeff I find that he has yet lifted the bar again over and beyond my expectations.

This job for you is a perfect example again Dan. How could you EVER want more from your leather rig? See.... it's IMPOSSIBLE!

You designed and received the finest dream come true possible, a Rainwalker Leather Creation. It really is a heirloom piece Dan. It will out live all of us and be used and passed down to future Melones yet to come! It is just beautiful Dan and I am so happy for you!

I feel like I got it myself it feels so good!

God Bless you my dear friend and wear it all your life in good health and safety. You now have a piece of leather man jewelry you can wear with pride daily!

Peace.

mmmm blackened D-rings, do you serve that with red or white wine?

I guess it would be white whine. Cause it's me doing the whining.

You just need to serve cheese and crackers to go along with it.

Brass is just fine and will match the beautiful brass hardware on my straps.
I have a set of MP military Sam Browne belt and shoulder straps with the nice brass fittings and swivels that all say made in England. If the D Rings are brass it will make it look more like a matched set. I even have a matching holster for the J Inglis Hi Power that would help balance the weight of the DFLE.

The over the shoulder carry looked the most comfortable of the ways DMelone had his rig set up. Even if I don't get to the wilds of Afrika and South America like he does I can at least look the part.

Brass it is then.

I was working on your stuff last night along with about a dozen other leather pants and I made sure and laid a couple of brass d-rings with your stuff to remind me to add them.

It's lookin good, BTW. It's not ready for pics or anything yet though.
