Dan, will you have anymore Mutts left over? will you put them in the store so some of us that didnt get a chance to buy one can buy one?
"Here's the latest model from the Yard... the Dumpster Mutt Double Cut . They are priced at $99.95. However, if you buy from the first batch before Tuesday night you can score a DMDC in our farewell to Texas sale for only $79.95. Once we get to Ohio, the second batch will be listed at $99.95! [Emphasis added]

Dan"

sooo... he and Patti are GOING TO BE MAKING ANOTHER BATCH of this same piece??? just the price will be 20 bucks higher??? am i tracking correctly... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

100 bucks is no big deal. the price of Scrap Yard knives is cheap anyway so i dont have to worry about laying lots, i just worry about getting my hands on one... haha..

someone please tell me there will be more of these <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

He missed two chances to get them for $80. It pays to pay attention! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Geez Recon, these guys are heartless. I feel your pain. That being said, how many times a day do you check the forum(s). (X3-SYKC, SRKC, Busse Combat). Me? At a minimum 3X a day 24/7. Most of the time I lurk, but your seeing pretty Joey more and more. Dan's got a new release, Jerry just had an eggstravaganzza, and Swamprat is going to unveil a new 3 1/2"er very shortly.

No excuses. We've got to do our homework. Plus, if your as sick as me, I check the Knife makers for sale forum too.

Yeesh, where does it all end?

Come on now Dan - we ALL get a little frustrated from time to time. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> However, constantly lamenting about missed opportunities DOES get old! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> Those who missed should LEARN from the experience and not bother telling the world all about it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

whichdawg - not that i have to explain my schedule to you but since you made a personal statement directed towards me, here ya go...

im an army rotc cadet in graduate school. i have 12 hours of graduate hours. you probably dont know what that entails but trust me, its extensive work and requires lots of time spent in the book. (i.e. - i cant lurk on the Yard as much as I would like to) and since the Army is paying my tuition, i have to do as best i can there as well, which takes up more time than graduate school. we have had multiple Joint-FTX's with other schools in our brigade and I have been away from the computer here and there. And to HornDog - $ isnt the issue. I dont care to pay $100 bucks for a knife from Dan. Im more concerned with GETTING one. I'll worry about catching deals after I get a Dog from the store.

But for whichdawg to make snide comments like "you will get another chance to whine about missing out" is a cheap shot. but he wont get called out for it and i will for posting this but oh well. and then for a Mod to tell me my posts are "getting annoying or old" ??.....????.... Cmon man - some of these threads on here are the same ones started a few weeks ago but they arent old?

Recon, I work almost 90 hours a week and I am still able to keep up with when the store is releasing a new knife. Not only that, but I have not missed a release since the SS4. Well, actually, I had a forum member cover me for one where I had to work, but I still got the knife.

You always bring up your ROTC as an excuse and I don't buy it. If you intend to really be a good officer you should be able to plan ahead. The Scrapyard knife sales are not a secret and Dan gives us plenty of time to make plans on how to get one. You are just exposing YOUR shortcomings by complaining all the time about not getting one.

I have held my tongue up till now thinking that you might have learned from your posts on other forums, but I'm starting to believe that that is not the case. Please prove me wrong and stop the whining, it doesn't befit a future officer.
