OK, first off many thanks to everyone who tried quelling my apprehension about maybe not getting the DMDC in time for my trip. It arrived today and I gotta admit, it's beefier than I thought it would be, but that's OK! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> This is my first "hard use" f/b knife and it feels like it should be perfect for camp/hiking chores... [censored] well anything, actually! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> It's not as sharp as I expected it to be but a little lovin' on the belt sander will take care of that. Busse family is OK in my book. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> Thanks for an awesome knife at a customer-appreciated price! Hey, since you were the other person who had troubles ordering, I just thought I was ask my question again. I still have heard nothing back from the yard, after nearly 2 weeks. Should I send another email? I have my invoice, so I know I'll get the knife eventually, but this is starting to piss me off...

dan chimed in the other day to say that they where in ohio and the the DMDC's where shipping and while he was at it he mentioned that they werent hooked up to the internet yet so they havnt been and wont be getting any e-mails yet.

obviously he was on the net to chime in so clearly he used someones computer.

he had troubles just like you and all worked out fine.being a worry wort sucks,i know,i am one.

one thing i've learned in my last few months here is to have faith in the yard.

i have faith, but I'm also proactive in ensure the safe delivery of my blade.

And, in the fine tradition of contradicting what I just said, I'll sit back and have faith

it also gives me more time to decide if I want a cordura or kydex sheath, from whom, and also to come up with the funds
