Why in the world would you split wood inside your house?

Your wife should be upset. That's just silly.

Scraphound did you write this or did your significant other? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

That line smacks of a womans touch..... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

My first reaction was NEAT!!!! Tyler must have loved Daddy bringing all that wood inside and smashing it up all over the place! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I still think that! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

What fun it must have been for the Pink Eyed Tyler to watch Dad smash stuff and make all kinds of noise while he was sick! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Great fun!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

It reminds me of when our Daughter was sick and Mom took out pots and pans and showed her how to create music with the shapes! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

GREAT FUN!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Way to go Terry, that is time well spent with your son! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Now that it's all over that sure must have been a pain in the arce to get the fine pieces out of the carpet. Being self-employed in the field of cleaning I see that from a real standpoint. And that must have been a real pain.
But at least it was worth it! Great job brother! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

Peace.
LOL, Dave I laughed and laughed as I read this. Tyler did like it. he gets to play with the mallet and sheaths. I comes out and acts like he is chopping with daddy. I love it.
I use to clean cars for a living. I hated peolpe who brought their car in all disgusting. it can be very hard work. more than once I had to reclean the vehicle.

Looks like fun!

I don't dare try that since the real knife abuse would occur when my wife catches me chopping in the living room! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

Yikes....bro come on not within the castle for which you dwell..you'll be stepping on splitters for quite some time.....I think if I did that you would see a new member on BF selling a few blades...AKA my wife !

Sweet! I chopped apart a plywood mirror stand that my son broke one evening. Made quite a mess, but the vacuum cleaned it up good. There was broken glass all over the place already, I figured that some sawdust couldn't hurt!

my apartment looked like that for years when my pups tore up anything their teeth would tear through. Now they leave the furniture/trim/door frames alone but they still love to tear up carboard/magazines. I figure if that distracts them from everything else I can live with it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Your living room looks normal to me, scrappy, although I do all my chopping out in the yard. With two teenage girls and messes eveywhere, most women run away screaming into the night after they see my place. If I had a wife, she would kill me. My sun room:

My back porch:

I should get the redneck house of the month award. All it needs is some wheels.
I hired a cleaning lady once. She took one look, gasped, and started drinking my booze and flirting with me. Never did get the place cleaned.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Your sun room looks great to me Vic! Lotsa belts for the sander mostly organized into boxes and you even have a BB gun for fending off unwelcome varmints. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
