I decided to take advantage of some of the land around New Orleans, so I headed over to Fountainebleau state park. They have about 5 miles of trail to walk by the lake. I didn't get to see it all on this trip, but I plan to go back for the rest. I'll see if I can hone my picture taking skills while I'm there. I'm not good at remembering to pull the camera out to get shots of the scenery. I did see a few critters on the way. Some of them were even slow enough to let me snap a picture.
Saw a few anoles.
Then there was a nice looking grass snake over by the old sugar mill(which I failed to take any pictures of)
What a pretty green color! I edged him back off the gravel and onto the grass before one of the many birds came down and ate his dumbass.

If I can make it dark, I can make it light.

Look at you Stabby, saving little dumb-a snakes, what a nice guy. Hopefuly you didn't throw off natural feeding cycle too much. I like the green color of that little snake.

Just think of the story that little snake has to tell now... if he makes it home. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
