I have been checking into one of these kits with the 3 types of lenses ,clear ,dark and yellow shooting style and now that they are on sale I have been seriously considering them. I know they are issued to US soldiers in Iraq and wanted to know if anyone who had them had an opinion. I would especially like them for on the bike and quad.

We are issued those glasses here in Iraq and they are really nice glasses. I like these better than the ESS brand we are issued because they fit better and they cover more of your eyes better too. They are really easy to change out the lenses too. They are a good set of saftey glasses and would be great for the bike.

Thanks banana clip ,I have posted this on 2 sites and got no response. I hope you come by the Yard lots and stay safe. You guys have done a fantastic job over there and really seem to have turned things around. Unfortunatly history has taught us that the military can do every thing right ,win every battle and if the politicians lose the will at home and pull out there is nothing that you can really do. Democracies just are not set up to fight long drawn out wars of occupation.

Sorry got off track there. Thanks again for the info on the goggles now I have the excuse I need to buy some neat new kit.

No problem Unsub.

Things have turned around a lot here, especially since last summer, it was real crazy last summer, but its a little more quiet now. I only have about a week left here, so it will be nice to be coming home soon.

I think I have an extra set if you don't mind waiting a few weeks, I can send them to you.

I am with banana on this one. The Sawfly tac glasses are great. They cover more of the eye and are built to last. Also, if you wear glasses you can get a insert made in your prescription. I rode with mine and they do very well. They keep a lot of the air out and all of the bugs and road trash.

Thanks for all that you are doing over in the suck banana!! Come home safe brother.

That is a really nice offer and I really appreciate it.

There has been some really nice kit come out in the past few years. All the molle stuff and I also like those Converse tac boots. It gets real dry and dusty here in Saskatchewan in summer ,not quite as bad as Iraq but close so I am glad to hear they work in that kind of conditions. The best way to describe the weather here is Iraq in the summer and Siberia in the winter sometimes in the same month.
