There is often talk on this forum about using high vis para-cord wraps on knives to increase their visability, it seems TOPS knives has taken this to the next step ! I'm suprised that other makers have not done this before as it is quite practical even if they don't look as nice. I prefer my knifes not to be visible well, so i prefer dark colours. Who told you para-cord wrap is for good visibility ? I think you are missing the point. Give me one good reason why would you need your knife to be so visible ?...like when you lose it you will find it easily ? lol, dont think so.

He is talking about reflective or orange paracord. People lose knives in the woods all the time and if thats your only knife and you are in a survival situation... Maybe its not as d3lta cool for you but its practical. A yellow stainless scrap yard dive knife would rock <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I lost my RTAK in the woods while I was throwing it. If they made the RTAK in Bright Yellow that would be cool. I still couldn't find it after 4-5 long attempts, one of which Cloak assisted and we still couldn't find it. So now we put yellow tape on all of our throwing knives. It would suck if I've I threw my FFBM and lost it. Oh the thought of that happening... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

I would buy the top skele if stainless (not Tops usual 1095) to use as a back up PSK.. The colour would match MY use of the knife. As I don't plan to sneak around stabbing people the blade colour isn't an issue!

Macgregor- +1 on the yellow stainless Yard dive knife (hmm the S6 or SS4 would be good designs to jump off from)..

Agreed...I'm putting orange paracord on all my knives for the very purposes described above...TO KEEP FROM LOSING THEM IN THE WOODS!
