When I went outside to do the lanyard pics, a flock of Buzzards was right there! I know I am 60 and all, but this is a scary omen! ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/SRKW/buzzards001.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/SRKW/buzzards002.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/SRKW/buzzards003.jpg) Thank God, they aren't here for me......yet. This large dead raccoon on seemed to be the object of their gathering. Whew! ![[Linked Image from i173.photobucket.com]](http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w64/rivershaman/SRKW/buzzards009.jpg)
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Great Pics, Vic! I'm glad to hear that those big ugly birds weren't after you!
On the other hand, the Black Vulture is an amazing bird! Somewhat disgusting, but amazing just the same.

Yea, I just moved him down a little further from the house. "Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms". Spit.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Nice pictures Vic! We have both black and red-headed turkey vultures around here. Both are butt-ugly, but majestic in flight.

Turkey buzzards, hawks, ospreys, eagles, herons, and big wood peckers are just some of the big birds I commonly see here. At dusk the sky is filled with bats and occasional owls. Big blue skinks live under my vinyl siding (keeps the roaches down). It's a zoo here. I like it that way.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

There were more off camera. I'd say at least seven or eight when I first walked outside. There are five in the first picture (look up in the trees on the left).
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I saw a cardinal today. That's all I got. What does a senior ecclesiastical official of the Catholic Church have to do with buzzards? Sorry, couldn't resist.
